WELCOME TO EHW

Hello and welcome to Endurance Health & Wellness Inc.

I have been involved with the sport of Triathlon at the Ironman level since 1998. I have completed 3 full distance Ironman triathlons consisting of a 2.4 mile Swim, 112 mile bike ride and a full marathon 26.2 mile run. I have also completed more than 50 Half Ironman distance races, (1.2 mile Swim, 56 mile Bike, 13.1 mile Run) Olympic distance races (.93mile swim, 24.85 Bike, 6.2 mile Run).

During this tenure I have learned how to manage my time very effectively and efficiently in order to satisfy other obligations in my life such as a career as a Yacht Captain, homeowner, husband …well you get the picture. I have since become a full-time USAT coach, Personal Trainer and Resistance Stretching Trainer. While working with endurance athletes of all levels for several years now my passion for the sport and helping my clients achieve their athletic and spiritual dreams continues to grow.

My background in Physical fitness stems back to 1982 when I joined the United States Air Force and served as a k-9 Narcotics Officer. I was also chosen to be part of the Peace Keeper Challenge. This a multi-faceted fitness and agility event held between Security Police squadrons throughout the world. Long distance running, obstacle course, night observation and tactical maneuvers with the use of my Military Working Dog were all part of the rigorous training involved. I was also a team member of the on-base SWAT/ Anti-Terrorist team. Among other athletic accolades such as playing Soccer on the base team.

I also enjoy the Personalized Training side of my business. I come to you, whether it be at your home, office, on the beach, or the beautiful hills of Malibu. I use the NASM pyramid system consisting of Stabilization-Strength-Power blocks of training periodization. I take you through the proper sequences of Core, Balance, Flexibility, Cardiorespiratory, Power, Speed-Agility-Quickness as well as provide practical Nutrition tips.

Finally, I conduct resistance flexibility sessions using the Meridian Flexibility System. This innovative system provides stretches for 16 unique muscle groups with concomitant physiological and psychological benefits. Four aspects of stretching (position, resistance, breathing, and psychological) correspond to the four aspects of oneself (physical, spiritual, emotional and mental). I have used this method of resistance stretching on numerous endurance athletes, Extreme Sport athletes and week end warriors alike.
